The 33 Power Partners Already in Your Market

One question finds all 33

Jay Abraham built a career on partnerships with one question: who does your customer buy from before, during, after, or instead of buying from you?

Every answer is someone who already has your buyer’s trust, and most of them would happily send you business if someone asked the right way. Most owners stop at the obvious two or three. Below are 33, grouped by family, that exist in almost every market.

Read it with a pen. Circle every one you could name a real business for today.

How to use the list

Don’t chase all 33. Circle the ones you could name a real business for, then pick the five with the biggest overlap with your buyer. Then run the same five steps with each:

  1. List them. Aim for 100 named businesses across your five types, three degrees out from the obvious.
  2. Research each one. What they sell, who they sell to, and one real fact about them you can mention.
  3. Send a short, specific message. Name them, name their customer, and ask one easy question: “Open to a short chat about referring the right ones?”
  4. Have the conversation. Find out what their customers need that you do well, and what a win looks like for them.
  5. Make it a win for both sides. Simple terms, one campaign to start, commission paid fast, then repeat.

Five partners each sending a few customers a month is a second sales team with no salaries.
